As I find myself at the end of a self-imposed 6-month work hiatus, I thought that the time has come to establish a permanent foothold in the digital world.  My first foray into blogging came as part of my 6-week roadtrip around the US just a few short weeks ago and I hope that this site can serve to provide more general information about who I am and my personal and professional endeavours.  However, I anticipate this remaining a relatively static resource for the foreseeable future.
